Well, it’s been almost a week since I completed my mission to follow The Ultimate Rotator Cuff Training Guide’s 6 weeks exercises for rotator cuff program and report here in my blog the process I was going through on my way to eliminate my rotator cuff pain for good.

I must admit that before I started the program I was very skeptical it can actually work. The web site looked a little hyped, but after reading the whole page a couple of times I felt Brian knows what he’s talking about, so I decided to buy it and see how professional the product really is (okay, the 60 days money back guarantee made my decision easier… lol).

Note: The Ultimate Rotator Cuff Training Guide is an eBook so there’s no need to wait for any delivery. A link to the products is being sent right after the purchase.

I got the eBook plus the bonuses and I was really surprised when I found out how professional it all looked, and how much time and effort were put into the products.

Brian is a certified physiotherapist with years of experience, which makes him a very credible source in this field.

Brian begins by giving thorough explanations about the rotator cuff anatomy and pathology. I think it’s very important to understand these things before going to the exercise section, because you don’t want to end up working on the wrong areas.

Get The Ultimate Rotator Cuff Training Guide Here

What I Liked Most…

The thing I liked most was the fact that Brian provided the best exercises for rotator cuff strengthening (about 20 exercises) plus clear, colorful videos and pictures from different angles so you will know exactly how they should be performed.

Another excellent thing is the 6 weeks program he built with a list of exercises for each day, plus the number of sets and series for each exercise.

I also enjoyed the other products he hands out as bonuses, and especially the stretching guide which contains important and interesting information about the shoulder plus a large variety of stretching exercises plus pictures and thorough explanations about each exercise.

I learned a lot from Brian’s eBooks, much more than I expected to. For example, I had no idea that proper posture is so important to help reduce the shoulder’s wear and tear.

Ladies, don’t worry about performing the exercises on a regular basis, these exercises are not body building exercises, but exercises to strengthen your shoulder muscles.

My Conclusion

Whether You Are Suffering From:

Rotator Cuff Tear

Rotator Cuff Tendonitis

Rotator Cuff Impingement Syndrome

Or Any Other Type Of Rotator Cuff Injury…

The Ultimate Rotator Cuff Training Guide has everything you need to eliminate the rotator cuff pain you have for good. If you are going to buy only one book this year, make it this one. It was definitely money well spent for me.

I finally completed the exercises for rotator cuff 6 weeks program.

I have to say it really wasn’t so hard to stick to the program, because the variety of the rotator cuff exercises and the stretching exercises was large and there were many exercises to choose from.

I do have to add that writing this blog and knowing I am committed to updating my progress every week was very helpful, and not just that but it kept me very motivated.

I really feel great now, my shoulder pain is completely gone, my rotator cuff is much stronger and my lifestyle improved a lot, however, I’m still going to continue doing the rotator cuff and the stretching exercises 2-3 times a week, to maintain my shoulder’s health and strength.

It’s very important not to neglect the exercises completely in order to maintain the results accomplished.

In Conclusion

The Ultimate Rotator Cuff Training Guide is a wonderful and professional product. I think Brian Schiff, the write of the product and a physical therapist, put in a lot of thought and hard work into the product and I feel the results.

Anyway, I do want to write a more thorough review about The Ultimate Rotator Cuff Training Guide because I think it’s worth it, but I’ll save it to the last post…

Till then,

Molly

When I started the physiotherapy for my rotator cuff tear, my physiotherapist showed me few exercises to strengthen the rotator cuff and told me the ultrasound is just to ease the pain, but the exercises for rotator cuff are the important treatment.

Lazy as I was, I didn’t really pay attention to what he told me, and soon after the physiotherapy ended I started feeling worse and worse again.

I couldn’t move my shoulder as I used to, I couldn’t sleep on the right side and I couldn’t even move my computer mouse with my right hand (Yes, I’m using the left hand now…).

So if you are still not convinced that the exercises for rotator cuff are the most important thing, here are a few important points to think about:

The exercises for rotator cuff which include stretches and range of motion routines are important in order to restore the shoulder its flexibility

The exercises for rotator cuff which include strength-building routines help stabilize the shoulder

The rotator cuffs muscles work together in order to stabilize the shoulders. In fact, this is their main job. In order for you to be able to perform effective exercises or movements with your upper body, your rotator cuff must be healthy

The exercises for rotator cuff injuries can help improve your body’s circulation. The rotator cuff is actually a group of muscles and tendons, and they receive little blood from your body. The exercises will increase the circulation and heal your rotator cuff injury faster

After understanding why exercises for rotator cuff strengthening are the important for the rotator cuff recovery, I realize I was quite stupid not listening to my physiotherapist before the pain became almost unbearable.

I almost completed the exercises for rotator cuff 6 weeks program and I have to tell you I didn’t really think that doing the rotator cuff exercises and strengthening exercises will eliminate my pain completely.

Right now I’m feeling just great, I don’t feel any pain in my shoulder, I move it to any direction I want without being afraid it would hurt, and I can even sleep on my right side again.

Tip

Following the program isn’t difficult, but it does require discipline, so all you need to do is find the most enjoyable way to exercise.

For example, I decided that in the weekends I’m going to exercise in the park instead of going to the gym.

It’s been four weeks since I started the exercises for rotator cuff 6 weeks program and I feel that my shoulder is really getting better every day.

I feel a big difference in almost any activity I do, I don’t even wake up with shoulder pain anymore when I accidently sleep on my right shoulder.

It’s not easy to be persistent for such a long period of time, but both the ultimate rotator cuff training program and the self stretching guide contain many exercises, so I sometimes switch between the exercises, and it prevents my laziness from taking over me.

It’s important to find something to keep you motivated. If you know it’s going to be very difficult for you to stick to the program, just make it a fun activity such as:

Doing the program together with a good friend, going to the gym when your favorite series is on and watch it as you do the exercises, or even listen to your favorite songs on your MP3.

Whatever keeps you motivated…

Good luck,

Strengthen your rotator cuff. The exercises for rotator cuff strengthening will help stabilize your shoulder joint and prevent injuries

Don’t forget to warm up before you engage in any sport activity that requires a large range of motion of your shoulder

Listen to your body. If you feel shoulder pain, take a rest and see a doctor

Proper posture is very important because the muscles become strained from holding the shoulders in a raised position for long periods of time

After neglecting my rotator cuff tear once, I’m not going to do the same mistake again. I’m definitely going to use this information in the future.

When I come out form the ultrasound examination knowing I have a tear in my rotator cuff I was in panic and I literally started to cry to my friend on the phone.

I had no idea what kind of treatment the orthopedist is going to determine for me.

I immediately started to think about the worst option, going through surgery. I’ve never been through a surgery before and I was terrified of the thought of possibly going through one.

In the end it turned out all I needed was physiotherapy and exercises, and I was very glad to hear that.

Who Does Need to Go Through Surgery in Case of a Rotator Cuff Injury?

The decision whether one should go through surgery or not is based on a few factors:

The extant of the injury

The patient’s health

The patient’s age

The general function of the shoulder

Usually a Rotator Cuff Surgery is Recommended in These Cases

You feel a tearing sensation

You hear a popping sound from the shoulder during an activity

You don’t feel any improvement after going through non-surgical treatments such as medications, physical therapy etc.

You feel weakness in the shoulder that interferes with your lifestyle

You feel ongoing pain that interferes with your lifestyle

If you feel any of the described above you need to consult your doctor as soon as possible.

It gets easier from time to time performing the exercises for rotator cuff strengthening in the program.

It’s also easier for me to do simple activities I couldn’t before without having severe pain in my shoulder.

I can lift my shopping bags (although I still try not to lift heavy bags so I won’t damage my shoulder more than I already have), brush my hair with less pain and I can even move the computer mouse (until about a week or so I used my left hand to move the mouse, and that’s really not comfortable…).

I hope next week will be even better…
